A thinkorswim™ Alternative for Structured Execution and Automation
If you already use thinkorswim with your Schwab account, OHLCX gives you another way to handle execution and automation without changing brokers or moving your account.
OHLCX is not designed to replace thinkorswim's charting, analysis, or existing trading tools. It connects to the same Schwab brokerage account through Schwab's OAuth flow and adds a separate execution workflow built around structured exits, persistent order preferences, risk visibility, and optional rule-based automation.
You can continue using thinkorswim where it fits your workflow and use OHLCX where you want a different way to turn a trading plan into executable order logic.
Same Schwab account, different execution workflow
thinkorswim already provides advanced charting, conditional orders, OCO structures, trailing stops, thinkScript, and active trading tools. OHLCX approaches the workflow differently.
Rather than replacing those tools, OHLCX focuses on bringing structured order entry, staged exit workflows, risk visibility, and optional no-code automation into one broker-connected environment.
Five exit flows in the OHLCX order workflow
OHLCX puts five structured exit flows directly into the order-building process so the trader can choose how a position should be managed before the order is sent.
A customizable staged exit workflow. Traders define the first trim, spacing between later stages, and the stop for the remaining position. TRIMMER carries those user-defined rules through the connected Schwab account as the position develops.
A staged exit flow for defining partial exits ahead of time instead of closing pieces of the position manually after entry.
A target and stop are linked so that when one side fills, the other is canceled.
An entry order that stages an OCO bracket after the entry fills, keeping entry and exit logic connected in the same order workflow.
A trailing-stop workflow that follows favorable price movement according to the trader's configured offset.
Automation is optional. Traders can continue managing orders manually, use OHLCX's structured exit workflows, or use Pro to define rules in Strategy Builder and choose how far automation is allowed to run.

Traders can continue using thinkorswim for charting, analysis, thinkScript, and existing order workflows while using OHLCX for structured execution, TRIM and TRIMMER workflows, risk visibility, and optional Pro automation on the connected Schwab account.
No need to replace thinkScript
thinkScript is thinkorswim's built-in scripting language for creating studies, scans, alerts, conditional orders, and other custom logic. OHLCX Strategy Builder takes a different approach by giving Pro users a visual, no-code workspace for building automated entry and exit rules.
If you already use thinkScript, OHLCX does not require you to abandon it. Strategy Builder is another way to define and manage rule-based execution through the connected Schwab account.
