Schwab-Connected Execution

The Trading Platform Built Around Your Schwab™ Account

OHLCX connects to your existing Charles Schwab brokerage account through Schwab's OAuth authorization flow. You authorize the connection with Schwab, and OHLCX does not receive or store your Schwab username or password.

Your brokerage account, positions, and capital remain with Schwab. Orders configured through OHLCX are submitted to Schwab through the official API, while OHLCX provides the execution workflow around the connected account.

For active traders, that means adding structured order entry, exit workflows, risk visibility, and optional rule-based automation without changing brokers or moving the account.

Why the Connection Model Matters

Connect once, then work in one platform

No new brokerage account or ACAT transfer is required to connect an eligible Schwab account
Your account, funds, and positions remain with Schwab. OHLCX does not hold or custody assets
Authentication takes place through Schwab's OAuth flow, so your Schwab login credentials are not entered into or stored by OHLCX
Orders configured in OHLCX are submitted to Schwab through the official API
You can revoke OHLCX's authorization through your Schwab account settings
OHLCX supports multiple linked Schwab accounts and lets you switch between them from one OHLCX login
How It Works

From Schwab authorization to execution

01
Connect your account

Choose to connect your Schwab account from OHLCX. You are redirected to Schwab to sign in and authorize access.

02
Return to OHLCX

After authorization, Schwab returns you to OHLCX with the approved connection. Your Schwab username and password are not provided to OHLCX.

03
Build the order in OHLCX

Use OHLCX to structure the order, choose supported exit logic, review the connected account, and decide how the trade should be handled before it is submitted.

04
Submit through Schwab

Orders are sent to Schwab through the connected API. The brokerage account and custody remain with Schwab while OHLCX provides the execution technology around the workflow.

What OHLCX Adds

More control around the order

Connecting OHLCX does not change where your brokerage account lives. It gives you another way to structure and manage execution around that account.

TSP, OCO, OTOCO, TRIM, and TRIMMER exit flows that can be selected before the order goes live
TRIMMER for user-defined staged exits, including the first trim, spacing between later stages, and the stop for the remaining position
Orders, positions, portfolio information, and risk visibility in one execution-focused workspace
Keyboard shortcuts, persistent preferences, and bulk controls for more repeatable order workflows
OHLCX Pro adds Strategy Builder, Signals, Analysis Feed, optional rule-based automation, and the OHLCX AI Agent
Connection Security

Your Schwab credentials stay with Schwab

OHLCX uses OAuth for Schwab authorization rather than asking you to enter your Schwab login credentials into OHLCX.

The connection uses token-based access, and OHLCX does not store your Schwab username or password. For more detail on credential handling, encryption, and platform security, see the OHLCX Security Policy.

Usage-based access

OHLCX uses usage-based credits for advanced platform activity rather than requiring a monthly subscription for standard individual platform access. Credits are purchased in packs and do not expire.

OHLCX Light focuses on broker-connected execution, structured order entry, exit flows, and the core trading workspace. OHLCX Pro adds the automation and intelligence layer, including Strategy Builder, Signals, Analysis Feed, and the OHLCX AI Agent.
